Ratchet will soon get Patch…et
Everyone has heard of one game or another that at launch is basically unplayable. Early adopters of some games especially busted games have called themselves “paid beta-testers”. Luckily, a bug someone has found in the latest Ratchet and Clank game doesn’t sound too crippling.
Posted over at The GAF, someone has found a bug where all of his “Zoni” have vanished. Someone who, according to Playstation Lifestyle is a developer reassured the concerned, bugged poster:
“This is the weird challenge mode bug that morphs your non-challenge mode game with a challenge mode.
It happens when you cancel out of the save for challenge mode as a way of saying no.
Patch forthcoming.”
If you’re terribly interested in seeing the post itself, it’s right here. I have to admit, that avatar is half funny, and half terrifying.
I haven’t heard any rumblings of any other major, game demolishing bugs, and this one seems kinda minor, honestly. It’s great that Insomniac is dedicated to rigorous bug testing. Maybe they’re just so great on their first pass of the game that bugs just don’t exist!
