New PS3 bundle on the way, doesn’t contain Disney movies/games
Sony has yet to officially announce this latest bundle, but Kotaku, and several of their members — some of which are Best Buy employees — agree that this is likely a reality.
This latest bundle contains Killzone 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4, two games that are anything but “casual”. This is the opposite of what the Xbox 360 bundle contained last holiday — Lego Indiana Jones and Kung Fu Panda.
Could this be Sony showing some love to the hardcore who have yet to give their system a buy? Or is it as the Kotaku article guesses; it’s a quick way to clear shelf space to make way for the rumored PS3 Slim? Maybe a matching of Microsoft’s recently released “Game of the Year” system bundle?
Either way, if you have yet to make the next-gen leap, this, or the 360 equivalent, containing Halo 3 and Fable 2, are great jumping off points. If the Wii is more suited to your tastes, Walmart has some wonderful bundles containing any number of movie/tv show games.
