PlayStation 3 Slim A Fake For Sure
The last few weeks have seen a bevy of rumours and speculations regarding leaked photo’s of a supposedly slim line PlayStation 3.
While it is widely acknowledged that Sony is working on a slimline PS3, when they will announce such a thing officially is still up for debate. However the images released purporting to be the new console were faked by some workers at a Chinese factory it has transpired today.
The aim of the fake was to sell it on eBay at the highest price, pocketing the money before anyone realised. Sony’s legal action and subsequent investigation meant that was not going to happen so the fakers came clean and said they used the factory equipment to make the mock up.
