Overlord and Crysis go on the cheap
Because of how many games are on “special” on Steam, I’ll only be covering the weekend specific deals. They are:
- Crysis and Crysis Warhead are available for 50% off until Monday!
- The entire Overlord franchise, Overlord, Overlord 2, and Overlord: Raising Hell is 75% off until Monday!
I’ve only rented and beaten the first Overlord, but I was always interested in Overlord 2, and I guess the expansion couldn’t hurt. You can get the set of three games together for $8.50, or Overlord 1 for $1.50, Overlord 2 for $7.50, and Overlord: Raising Hell for $2.50. While I beat Overlord 1 on 360, the demo for PC of it, and second hand knowledge tells me the PC isn’t exactly the most friendly version, especially when “sweeping” your minions.
On the other hand, Crysis, a game from 2007 and I guess technically 2008 with Crysis: Warhead, are both on sale for $15 individually, or $30 together. My experience with Crysis was nothing but tweaking and optimizing until I got the best frame-rate with as many features as I could…and then I played the game, and quitting five minutes later. It’s as pretty as can be, but really hard, and really unforgiving.
Buy games!
