Official: StarCraft Best Selling RTS

Blizzard, the company behind MMO hit World Of Warcraft have accepted an accolade for another of its popular games.

Starcraft, the sci-fi real time strategy game first released in 1998 was awarded the Guiness World Record Gamer Edition award for best selling PC RTS title, selling over 9.5 million copies worldwide. The company also won an award for the aforementioned World Of Warcraft, with its 11.6 million subscribers making it the most popular MMORPG.
