New “The Path” is Paved, Free Taster Chapter
Indie game studio Tale of Tales have revealed a new branch of the dark and psychological horror title “The Path”.
“The Path – Prologue” is a new chapter, which offers a taste of what can be expected within the setting, and introduces a new character to Tales’ dark world.
“Instead of extracting part of The Path and releasing it as a free trial, we made a brand new chapter, similar to parts of the game, but not the same. It should give you a free taste of the atmosphere of the game and be a good test for your computer’s ability to handle our technology.”
While not a typical adventure game, The Path is defined by its immersive and gothic atmosphere, Tales’ explain:
“The Path is designed with accessibility in mind. There are no ticking clocks or monsters to defeat. No hard puzzles will ever halt your progress. Most activities in the game are entirely optional and voluntary. The player has all the freedom in the world to explore and experience”
