It’s Halloween in Free Realms!
The free online game Free Realms is joining in the festive fun with a new update entitled ‘Super Spooktacular.’
The update will feature halloween events, decorations, a trading card games and a massive 14 spooky new quests. When one considers the lack of a subscription fee for the use of this game, it is amazing to see so much content shoved into an already growing online phenomenon. While it may not be World of Warcraft, the zero dollar price tag is certainly appealing. Whether the gameplay is reflective of this lack of revenue is up to the player. The update is running now and will be online until November 11th.
In addition, Sony Online Entertainment are also adding holiday events and features in their other online titles, including Everquest, Everquest II, Legends of Norrath, and Star Wars: Galaxies.
