Feast Azeroth Style
As some of our readers are aware, this Thursday is Thanksgiving in the ol’ U S of A and in recognition the folks over at Blizzard have gotten into the action.
Tagged as Pilgrim’s Bounty the newest in-game holiday will focus on many of the hallmarks of American Thanksgiving, i.e., lots of food. There’s also pilgrim clothes thrown in for good measure.
Now, unlike other in-game holidays, there will not be a boss or epic loot to obtain. Instead players will hunt for turkeys, have food fights, and, if it strikes them, learn some new cooking recipes along the way.
The event is set to run until November 28th, and achievement hungry players will be happy to note that there’s a whole slew of them obtainable for the holiday.
I have to say, between the anniversary celebrations, a new in game holiday, and the impending 3.3 patch, there is certainly a lot for WoW players to be thankful for.
