Tony Hawk Ride Announced
The Tony Hawk franchise makes it’s return after a year hiatus packing one major new trick. Namely, it will forgo the use of a controller in favor of a wheel-less skateboard controller. The game’s official website launched giving a new look at the new peripheral that is both tilt-sensitive with infrared sensors to control onscreen movement.
As you can see from the picture the board does feature buttons which will seemingly be used to navigate menus. Robomodo and Buzz Monkey are developing the game which aims to hit shelves this holiday season. While there aren’t any concrete details on gameplay the big bold E3 date on the picture makes it apparent it shouldn’t be long until the major reveal happens.
Can this controller do for skateboarding games what Guitar Hero guitars did for music games?
