Tekken Does Better On PlayStation
It seems that Tekken’s original home (some would say natural) of PlayStation is proving the latest games most comfortable fit.
Tekken 6 was the first game in the series to be released on multiple platforms, namely PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and it seems the sales figures have shown that the PS3 version of the game is ahead of the pack, though no actual sales figures have been given.
The reason for that is that the game, in its first 8 days or so, has sold less than 300,000 copies world wide. The other big fighting game release this year, Street Fighter IV topped 700,000 in the same time frame at the beginning of the year. Issues with the online play have been rumoured to be a contributing factor to the lack of sales.
