FFXIII Release Date Info Leaked in Casting Call
Shhh…. Don’t tell anyone but FFXIII will be getting a North American release date soon; at least if recent reports are to be believed.
An alleged casting call from Los Angeles based ad agency Liz Paulson Casting puts out the search for someone to help release as yet unrevealed information about Square Enix’s newest entry in its flagship series.
The general buzz around the interweb is that such a move portends a sooner rather than later reveal, and the facts point that way as well. December 17 has already been announced as the Japanese release date, so anything later than that and the cat is already out of the bag.
As a longtime fan of the series, I have to say this is the least excited I’ve been about an installment for quite some time. Technically and visually the game looks stunning, but the mere mention of a new FF just doesn’t do it for me anymore. Here’s hoping this big reveal, if real, will add a little excitement for me.
Either way we should know very soon just when Square’s newest magnum opus will see a stateside release.
