Drum Hero Trademarked By Activision
Music games may be seeing a decline in sales recently, probably due to how many we’re seeing but regardless Activision have filed a trademark for Drum Hero. Any further details on the title however are sparse at the moment, but as things stand looks like it could be a stand alone drum title.
Given that the vast majority of people that own the drums that work with these titles have either bought them as a package with the microphone or guitar, it doesn’t make sense to release a drum specific title. What it’ll bring to the genre that you can’t get from any of the multi-instrument titles currently on the market is anyone’s guess, but Activision must have some ingenious idea up their sleeve for the conception.
