Hundred Copies Of Modern Warfare 2 Stolen From A Single Gamestop
When I was in the queue for Modern Warfare 2 (only because it was being sold at £25), people started talking to each other. Either they were there for their children, or they were going to sell it on eBay, and it soon became obvious that most of the copies were actually going to end up on the virtual auction site. With the high popularity it makes sense, so that’s probably why a hundred copies of the title were stolen from a Gamestop recently.
Upon entering a Gamestop, a man (who currently remains at large and nameless) told the clerk that he had a friend outside who would shoot anyone that got in his way, as he proceeded to clear the store of all the Modern Warfare 2 copies. And eventually was able to leave with $6,900 worth of goods.
What’s amazing is the fact that, this friend with a gun probably didn’t actually exist, and thus resulting in the easiest crime known to man, either because of an overly scared and foolable store clerk, or one of the most persuasive men alive.
