Big-huge XP in Gears of War 2 to celebrate the big-huge launch
If there is any game that fits with a big-huge triple XP bonus, it’s Gears of War 2; the game is bigger than the first, and Marcus Fenix is indisputably enormous.
The triple XP that you’ll be getting from today, November 6th all the way to November 16th is to celebrate the game’s launch in 2008. That’s just the biggest-hugest of changes though, there are some minor tweaks/additions. X360A has a nice little list:
- Triple XP
- Tactical Mode
- Hardcore Public Horde
- Individual Game Type Playlists
- Now through Monday the 16th
Awesome, am I right? Just reading it makes me want to kick someone apart. Actually, I’ve just been looking for an excuse to link that video.
The ‘tactical mode’ apparently means that weapons will do more, but ammo will be harder to find. Some other minor twists and tweaks apparently, but nothing I know much about. Check the details out at the source, as they’re obviously are much more stuck on Gears of War than I.
