Xbox Live Arcade title Battlefield 1943 was launched on Wednesday, but has now become a tad too expensive for most gamers.

The title has been set to 90,000 Microsoft points, effectively taking it off the market for anyone but the richest gamers. No one is 100% sure as to the exact reason for this, but given various reports that the servers for the game were unable to cope with the number of people logging on, it is entirely possible that DICE want to add some more before allowing people to get the game again.

*Update* It now seems that the game has been removed from Xbox Live altogether, as no listing can be found on the marketplace section of xbox.com.

*Update 2* It has reappeared on the Xbox Live marketplace for 1200 MS Points. It is also now possible to get into matches, which at somepoints yesterday it was not. Though, it was noted that the server warning on the in game news ticker is still present.
