Gamerscore Blog is no more
It has been announced that Gamerscoreblog.com the official Microsoft blog covering the Xbox 360 and Games for Windows has been retired. From the tone of the final post this does not seem to be a cost cutting measure or any reflection on the people publishing the blog but merely the result of most of the information it posted being available on other more popular blogs and sites that cover the Xbox 360.
The main reason for using Gamerscoreblog was that it was the first place that listed the details of any forthcoming XBLA and Xbox Original releases for the week but even then this information was quickly posted on other sites, most notably by MajorNelson. As there was very little in the way of unique content and features posted on Gamerscoreblog.com it is therefore not surprising that Gamerscoreblog has been closed.
