A few noteworthy artists are allowing their songs to make premier performances for both the Rock Band and Guitar Hero franchises this holiday season. Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, The Fall of Troy, and OneRepublic will be joined by indie artists Pavement and Spoon are giving their downloadable talents to users this holiday season. The following tracks are being made available in small packages:

The Fall of Troy (Available Dec. 3):

- “Panic Attack”

- “A Classic Case of Transferal”

- “Single”

OneRepublic (Dec. 12):

- “All The Right Moves”

- “Mercy”

Beyond all of this, we will be able to play along to Nada Surf’s “Hi-Speed Soul,” Pavement’s “Cut Your Hair,” and Spoon’s “Sister Jack” on the seventeenth. Steve Ouimette’s arrangement of “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” will also be coming, but not until the 22nd, and for free. The Celebrity New Year’s Rock Track Pack will also be online on the 22nd, and it will feature Taylor Swift’s “Our Song,” Maroon 5’s “Harder to Breathe,” and No Doubt’s “New.”

The packs for The Fall of Troy, One Republic, the two Indie Groups, and the Celebrity New Year’s Rock Track Pack will be available on the XBOX 360 for 440 Microsoft Points. It is also hitting the Playstation Network for $5.49 and the Wii for 550 Wii Points. If you don’t feel like going after all of the packs, you can buy individual songs from The Fall of Troy, OneRepublic, Indie Rock and Celebrity New Years Rock Track Packs for 160 Microsoft Points, 200 Wii Points, and $1.99 for the one system that actually uses regular money to regulate their sales.
