PSN Could Be Set For Subscription Charges
Images have surfaced of a survey Sony are currently doing on possible subscription charges for the PlayStation Network. The IPSOS Online Research survey have stated that “Sony [are] considering offering a premium PlayStation Network subscription in the future”.
The subscription offering would provide new premium features you could choose to pay for and are in addition to the features currently available for free such as access to online multiplayer gaming (current features would remain free).
There seems to be four different plans consumers can choose between, each offering a whole host of different content including cloud storage, a few hours of full game trails and online music services.
It’ll certainly be interesting to see how gamers react but the charges and services seem reasonable enough not to cause outrage.
