If you’ve ever played a Halo game but never been to Bungie.net, then you’re missing out on a huge part of the experience. The website tracks everything you do in-game and supplies all the statistics to you on a silver platter.

A very quick look at the basic stats for Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST give some very interesting information: in the last 24 hours there have been fewer people playing ODST, but they’ve racked up more than twice as many games as those playing Halo 3. Going by percentages, each ODST player has played more than 4 games, where each Halo 3 player has only played about 1.3.*

Here’s the full statistics for the last 24 hours as of 11.35 GMT:

ODST: Players: 949,810 – Games: 4,613,737
Halo 3: Players: 1,524,675 – Games: 1,915,291
