Gears of War Avatar costumes on the way
For the first time, Xbox 360 Avatar clothes are going to be available that will NOT make you look like a Gap or American Eagle reject. Joystiq has pictures from the Gearsiverse panel at Comic-Con. This is hopefully the first of many things you can buy for your Avatar that won’t make them look like ridiculous upper-middle class mannequins.
I know that I’d pay to have my Avatar look like a Transformer or something equally amazing, although if the update to the New Xbox Experience is any indication, with the inclusion of “Premium themes,” I doubt these new clothes will be cheap. But, as with most things that just look neat, it’s always 100% optional, like with Battlefield Heroes. If you REALLY want to dress like Michael Jackson in Smooth Criminal, you can put up your hard earned cash.
It’ll be interesting if Avatars can carry weapons as new accessories. I know I wouldn’t mind seeing my little Avatar guy carry around a lancer or something equally rad.

My xbox profile is already all gears of war so that would be awesome to make my character GoW also. I would be carmine cause he rulz!
