Fat Princess getting DLC
That was quick. It just seems like yesterday that Fat Princess was released, and already there is going to be at least one map released. The question is, will they go the Valve and Criterion route, and give people free stuff for a while, then charge for one or two things. Or will they go the traditional multiplayer route, charging you for each and every map and piece of content.
One thing is for sure, at least one map is on the way. Shown at PAX was the map New Pork, a city based map, something I don’t think is in the game yet. Some nifty features as listed on their official blog are multiple sewer routes, barricades, and rooftop routes.
Separate from the news story, a thought just dawned on me. Fat Princess is a game ripe for modding and user-created content. Although we probably wont see anything of that sort, it’s fun to dream of a recreation of 2Fort in Fat Princess.
No word of what other content will be released, but there is a promise of more. Maybe that chef class that was show a short while back? Check out the official Titan blog for a screenshot of the map.
