Two Worlds 2 Scheduled for Spring 2010 Release
OK, so the original Two Worlds was hardly the most revolutionary Open World RPG, nor the most critically received but South Peak have today announced that Two Worlds 2 is expected to hit Spring next year. I am sure they probably deserve the benefit of the doubt. The un-named protagonist from the first game returns. Following a break-out from prison, the game once again returns to Antaloor which has drastically changed in his absence.
The sequel has been “built from the ground up for Xbox 360 with a brand new engine”, consisting of “gameplay mechanics aimed at delivering both hardcore and casual gamers a refreshingly robust role-playing experience”. Oh, and the game is being described as potentially being the “sleeper hit of the genre”…because, y’know, stranger things have happened.
