Ubisoft has published the first No More Heroes, and is going to keep supporting the upcoming No More Heroes 2, but is letting the port of NMH1, No More Heroes: Heroes Paradise, go. I’m not exactly sure why, and Ubisoft hasn’t given an official reason, but I’d expect it has something to do with how poorly NMH1 did.

I find it strange that Ubisoft would abandon Grasshopper Manufacture like this, even if their games don’t do spectacularly. NMH:HP is coming to Japan in February, but with Ubisoft letting it go for North America and Europe, who is up to snuff? There are several smaller publishers who I think would be appropriate, but we’ll see what happens.

What do you people think about this whole port business? I’m not sure I really even…want NMH on my 360, or even how they’d do a few things. How are you going to get a phone call through your WiiMote’s mic if there isn’t one? A headset? It’s just not the same…
