Someone Call 911: Spoiled Teenager Edition
An Illinois boy called 911 (999 for our British fans) after his parents took away his Xbox 360.
Let me repeat that. A boy called the police department because he couldn’t play his Xbox.
The boy, who lives in the Illinois town of Buffalo Grove, asked his local constable’s office whether or not his parents had the “right” to take away his system, but then losing his nerve hung up the phone.
Police went to the home to make sure everything was alright, and let the boy know that, yes his parents could take away his Xbox and then sadly shot him.
Ok, so he really didn’t get shot, but really? We’re calling 911 now because of punishments we don’t like?
Now I’m not pretending to know how to raise a child, but honestly if your kid pulls something like this, you may want to rethink your parenting techniques.
